Book a Campground in British Columbia
#Wild About Canada
British Columbia is located in the western part of Canada, where the terrain is diverse - rocky coastlines, sandy beaches, forests, lakes, mountains, inland deserts and grassy plains and the people are adventurous! You’ll get some wildly breathtaking trips —quite literally when you swim in one of the province’s many turquoise glacier lakes, ride a wave, or catch a glimpse of a bear in the forest. For camping experiences and road trips, BC offers privately operated campgrounds and RV parks.
In the Okanagan, enjoy winery tours, horseback riding, fruit-picking, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, rafting, golfing and a plethora of fresh fruit stands all summer long. Heading north to central BC, you’ll find more forested outdoor experiences such as world-class hunting, fishing, hiking and ATV trails, and of course the mystical northern lights of the Aurora Borealis.
In the West Kootenays, we love Nelson, Creston, and Revelstoke for the local restaurants, fruit stands, hot springs and even zip-lining (careful, roads are hazardous in winter!). In the East Kootenays, Invermere has beautiful beaches and golf resorts, and Golden BC has amazing mountain biking, paragliding and white-water rafting experiences on the Kicking Horse river.
