Campground Description
Armstrong's Seasonal Camping is a new and up coming campground on the beautiful South facing shore of Lake Manitoba, it shares an entrance road with the well established cottage development known as Big Point Retreat. We offer large campsites measuring 50 x 60 feet, more than double the size of most campgrounds. Each campsite offers both 20 and 30 amp service along with non-potable water. Available is a public washroom with flush toilets and shower, there is a dump station for sewage disposal. Free WiFi available, and we have fire wood available for purchase. Fish from shore or in a boat, swim in the lake or take your chair and sit on the beach. There are 2 boat launches available for use in close vicinity of the campground. Langruth is the bird watching capital of Manitoba, come enjoy the many birds and other wildlife in the area. Armstrong's is a beautiful place on the lake that offers incredible views across the bay both day and night, lights from Delta Beach and Portage la Prairie can be seen.
Never camped before or not sure how to get started? Come try Convenience Camping, 2 large campers already set up and ready to rent. They come with lawn chairs, shaded areas, BBQ's, outdoor eating area, a fire pit, free firewood and many other amenities. Hotel experience while enjoying nature, all you need to bring is food, personal items and clothes.
Local Attractions
Nearby boat launch, fishing, nearby grocery store and vendor, located within an hour drive of 3 golf courses, Portage la Prairie, Gladstone and McCreary. A short 3 mile boat ride out onto the lake to a unique sandbar ridge often referred to as the "Reef" where boaters from other nearby campgrounds often gather for an afternoon of fun. Langruth is well known for its many different species of birds and is called the bird watching capital of Manitoba.

Check-In & Out
Check in time is at 1pm, and check out is 11am. Please let the campground know of any late arrivals or departures.
Noise
Noise must be kept to a reasonable level at all times and is required to be minimized from 11pm–7am
Pets
Pets must be under control at all times and on leash when outside of private RVs or tents. Pets must not make excessive noise nor be aggressive or destructive. Owners must clean up after pets immediately. Pets must not be left unattended except safely in private RVs. If left in RVs, pets must be checked on regularly. Pets must be confined in the owner's camping unit during designated quiet hours (11pm - 7am).
Fires
Portable propane fire pits, gas or propane stoves, barbecues for cooking and fires in designated fire pits are permitted. All other fires, including candles and torches, are prohibited. The subdivision of Big Point Retreat is a separate entity from Armstrong's Seasonal Camping, the rules may differ.
Beach
Beach use is for everyone, absolutely no one is "entitled" to a specific spot on the beach. All personal items are to be removed each day from the common beach area.
Fireworks
Fireworks are prohibited unless consent from Kyle Armstrong is given and neighbors are notified in advance, not all pets react to well to loud noises, respect other campers.
Google directions are incorrect, once on RD 94N follow to the end, turn right and then right again. Armstrong's Seasonal Camping is on the right and Big Point Retreat Cottage owners are on the left.
Each site is limited to one camping unit plus additional tent provided the occupants are under 16. Occupants older then 16 will be charged the additional camping unit fees, any additional camping units are subject to additional fees.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations within 2 days of booking date will receive a full refund minus $5 for reservation fees. Any cancellations less than 48 hours of arrival will not receive a refund.
- Payment in full is required for all bookings before entry of site. Drop-ins can be issued and accommodated if sites are available. Contact Kyle Armstrong 204 871 3976 or e transfers to armstrongcamping@gmail.com
- Additional $5 processing fee through Camp Reservations
- Additional 3.3% fee charge for all Credit Card payments
- Payments can be made by Credit Card, Cash or e-transfer to armstrongcamping@gmail.com
- Check in time is at 1pm, and check out is 11am. Please let the campground know of any late arrivals or departures.
- All camping reservations require persons that are 18 years of age or older. The person making the reservation must occupy the site.
- Fire wood can be purchased in cash or e transfer by contacting Kyle Armstrong 204 871 3976 for $20.00 a tailgate load.
- Disposal of sewer and grey water must be done at the designated dumping station only.
- If management closes the campground, all fees, including reservation fees will be refunded. Refunds will not be given for weather, wildlife, insects, water, air quality, fire or liquor bans, vehicle or trailer trouble, getting lost, closed amenities, or advisories.
