The campground is located at the end of main street in the Village. The campground is treed and steps away from the Centennial outdoor swimming pool. Each site has its own fire pit and picnic table. There is a shower house in the campground which is free for campers. A code is required to access the shower house which can be obtained from the campground attendant. Sewer Dumping Station: COVID-19 Preventative Measures – Must wear disposable gloves to utilize the RV Dump taps.

CARBON MUNICIPAL CAMPGROUND
Fees - Camping fees are collected in full at the time the reservation is taken. Visa and Master Card are accepted. If paying via cheque your reservation will NOT be confirmed until the cheque is received and cleared by the bank.
Cancellation – Should you need to cancel your reservation we require a 72-hour notice prior to reservation date in order for you to receive a refund minus $5 administration fee and 3% transaction fee. A refund for the full reservation dates will NOT be refunded should your cancellation be less than 72 hours.
Check in/out times – If the site you are in is reserved for another party for the following day, please vacate the site no later than 12 noon on the next day. If you have made reservations for more than one consecutive night, failure to check in on the first night of the reservation will result in your losing your reservation, unless the office is notified otherwise.
Quiet time – Quiet time is from 11pm to 8am. Guests are required to keep noise at a level that will not disturb other guests. Violation will result in being asked to leave.
Washrooms – Washrooms are cleaned daily and are there for all campers’ use, so please help us keep them clean and tidy.
Fires – Fires are permitted in firewood rings only. Firewood may be purchased at the grocery store, 403 Caradoc Avenue.
Pets – Pets must be attended to and leashed at all times, at no time are they allowed to be loose and running in the park. Please pick up after your pets.
Trash – Dumpsters are provided in each of the parks – please use them.
Group camping – When booking more than one site, you will be required to pay for all sites reserved, plus all the dates at the time of the reservation. The Village will not be responsible for allocating various sites for those in your group. That will be the responsibility of the group coordinator.
For tent sites - Vehicles must be parked on the North grass area, off the roads.

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
Total silence must be respected between 11 p.m. until 8 a.m.
Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
For tent sites: Vehicles must be parked on the North grass area, off the roads.
There are no refunds for inclement weather, late arrivals, or early departures.
Bookings cannot be amended within 3 days of arrival.

“No Shows” will not be refunded under any circumstances.
If you wish to cancel your reservation and receive a refund, we require a notice of a minimum of 3 business days (with Noon being the starting time). All cancellations will be subject to a $5 service fee. There will no exceptions, regardless of the circumstances, so please see the examples below.
Example 1:You have a reservation for a long weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights). On Tuesday, you have a family emergency and you know that you will not be able to go camping that weekend. If you contact the Village of Carbon by telephone or email before Tuesday at noon, you will qualify for a refund. This allows 3 complete business days before the Noon check in time at the campground on Friday. If you call at any time after 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on the Tuesday, you will not receive any refund. No exceptions.
Example 2: You have a reservation that starts next Tuesday. On Thursday you decide that you have to cancel your reservation. If you contact the Village of Carbon by telephone or email before Thursday at noon, you will qualify for a refund. This allows for 3 business days notice (Friday, Monday, and Tuesday) before the noon check in on Tuesday. If you call at any time after 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on the Thursday, you will not receive any refund. No exceptions.
