Campground Description

Serenity at it's finest when you stay in the picturesque valley in Frenchman Butte, SK! Frenchman Butte Heritage RV Park has 10 full service sites water, power, and sewer. All sites are pull through for safe and easy parking. Seven sites are large 50-60 feet long with plenty of room for picnic tables. Sites 11, 12, 14, and 15 are electric only but water and sewer are available and all sites have 30 amp. Our RV Park is located along the North Saskatchewan River in the hamlet of Frenchman Butte, Saskatchewan with about 55 people residing so is very quiet. In the area the 1885 Rebellion was fought just north of the hamlet of Frenchman Butte, Frog Lake, Fort Pitt and the battlefield are great attractions for the history buffs. There is a tour guide available to bring the story to you if requested. Our museum right at the RV Park is a sought after attraction in the area. You should tour the museum starting with the Log Tea House, where light lunches are served and the locals gather for morning coffee, Lloyd Furman Building with local artifacts, CN Station on its original site at the end of the line, Blacksmith Shop, One-roomed school house, one roomed log pioneer house, Garage of 1940 and earlier, and our newest attractions is the General Store of the 1940's. Guided tours are available from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm and usually takes 1 1/2 hours to 3 hours depending on your choice. There is a Mini 9 hole Golf Course enjoyed by all ages and a Centennial Playground for the kids. There is canoeing and fishing in the river. Hiking and riding your bikes are at your choice. We are located approx 60 Kms north East of Lloydminster. North on Highway 17 to Junction of Highway 3 - East until you cross the Deer Creek Bridge on the North Saskatchewan River to Junction of 797 then North following the signs and down into the Hamlet of Frenchman Butte. We have recently had a new paved highway # 797.

Local Attractions

We have many lakes and beautiful beaches and fishing just about 45 minutes to the north of us, Roman Catholic Church in Paradise Hill, SK with Bert Imoff paintings, the Bert Imoff Art Museum and a beauitful 9 hole Golf course in St. Walburg about 25 minutes away from the RV Park. These places have a grocery store, gas station, and laundry facilities.

No washing vehicles in the RV Park.
All animals must be well-behaved and leashed within the RV Park. 
If fire ban is on within the RM of Frenchman Butte 501,  there will be no fires allowed in the pits. 
Quiet time after 10:00 pm.
No large carpets on the site. 
Alcohol not allowed anywhere off your own site. 

If you need instructions, stop at Log Tea House.
